Welcome to an immersive monthly residency at the Harrow Arts Centre Bar. Futureword London is where the spoken word meets the digital age. We are a collective dedicated to the art of performance—blending poetry, storytelling, and music into a single, seamless experience.

Every month, your hosts Alice & Marek curate an evening of atmospheric exploration. Each performance is a "triple threat":

• The Word: Compelling poetry and storytelling.

• The Sound: Live or recorded musical accompaniment (Yamaha/MPC driven).

• The Vision: Simultaneous projected imagery to pull the audience into the story.

We believe that true creativity flourishes within a community built on respect. To ensure Futureword remains a welcoming space for all, we operate with two clear guidelines:

1. The 5-Minute Rule: Every performance slot is strictly limited to 5 minutes. This keeps the energy high and ensures a diverse range of voices in a single evening.

2. Our Values: We celebrate freedom of expression within the bounds of human kindness. We have a zero-tolerance policy for racism, sexism, antisemitism, or islamophobia. We are here to build bridges, not barriers.
